"Minute elements are clearly laboured over, from the aperitif cocktails – a classy collection well served in the ground-floor bar – to the majestic brasserie upstairs where lavish decorative features, original stained glass and palm fronds create one of the city’s most arresting dining spaces." - The List
Whether it's cocktails in The 158 Champagne and Oyster Bar, dinner in our Grand Brasserie or a special occasion in The Glenfarclas Private Dining Room; we always guarantee the warmest of welcomes at Hutchesons.
At Hutchesons we are renowned for our Champagne parties, throwing some of the biggest and bubbliest bashes of the summer, and on Friday the 28th of October, we’re returning with something a little darker, a little more glamorous and just a touch spooky. We will be marking 150 years since the passing of the Grande Dame of Champagne herself - Madame Clicquot, with a Black Tie Masquerade party in her honour!
Oysters are one of lifes great dividers. Like marmite, olives or blue cheese, these little beauties either elicit unbound enthusiasm or abject disgust. Very rarely if at all will you find someone who's approach is ambivalant. Though first of all, right out the gate let us start with one simple truth. Not all oysters are created equal.
