Partick Thistle chair to speak at networking event

Big Thanks to Insider for a great piece:

"Jacqui Low, the founder and chair of Indigo PR and the recently appointed chair of the board of Partick Thistle Football Club, is to speak at a networking event next week.

She will speak at a Bubbles and Brunch event at the Hutchesons restaurant in Glasgow's Merchant City next Friday lunchtime.

Low has more than 30 years spanning media, PR, politics and government.

The event developed by restaurateurs Rusk & Rusk invites business leaders to share their stories and aims to inspire the next generation of business leaders.

It will be hosted by Louise Rusk co-owner of Rusk and Rusk and Tracy McNellan, managing director of Global Scotland, the company that owns Heart FM

Heart Drivetime’s Lynne Hoggan will be providing the soundtrack to this month’s event, sharing music excerpts that spotlight Jacqui Low’s career.

Louise Rusk said, “Having launched Bubbles and Brunch earlier this year with great response from attendees, we are excited to host Jacqui Low at Hutchesons this month.

“The event is a unique opportunity for guests to connect with a prominent and savvy businesswoman, such as Jacqui who has had an impressive career.”

She continued, “Scotland has a wealth of inspirational businesses, yet the forums for its leaders tend to be traditional networking events. This event seeks to step away from the traditional template by creating an inspirational, fun and empowering environment where business leaders and entrepreneurs can exchange ideas and inspire each other.”

The event runs from 12 noon to 3pm."
